costs?<\/b><\/p> <p>You are eligible for assistance to help cover funeral costs if you meet the following conditions:<\/p> <ul> <li>you have been granted temporary protection status in the Republic of Slovenia;<\/li> <li>your deceased family member had the temporary protection status in the Republic of Slovenia at the time of death;<\/li> <li>on the date of your family member\u2019s death, you were entitled to the allowance or financial assistance;<\/li> <li>you arranged the funeral of the person granted temporary protection in the Republic of Slovenia;<\/li> <li>no more than one year has passed since the death of your family member.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><b>Who is considered a family member of the deceased person when claiming assistance to help cover funeral costs?<\/b><\/p> <p>For the purpose of claiming assistance to help cover funeral costs, the following persons are considered family members of the deceased:<\/p> <ul> <li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>the spouse of the person granted temporary protection, a cohabiting partner or a partner from another legally recognised form of partnership; in the case of a polygamous relationship, only one person is considered a family member, namely the person designated by the person granted temporary protection;<\/li> <li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>minor children of the person granted temporary protection or of the person referred to in the preceding point, provided they are unmarried, regardless of whether they were born within or outside marriage or were adopted;<\/li> <li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>a child of the person granted temporary protection born in the Republic of Slovenia;<\/li> <li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>the father, mother or another adult responsible for the person granted temporary protection, if the person granted temporary protection is a minor and unmarried;<\/li> <li><span
