issued with a temporary residence permit on the basis of study, you must meet the general conditions for temporary residence that apply to all foreign nationals, as well as the specific conditions related to study or education.<\/p> <p><b>General conditions under Article 33 of the Foreigners Act (ZTuj-2):<\/b><\/p> <ul> <li>a valid passport;<\/li> <li>appropriate health insurance;<\/li> <li>sufficient means of subsistence during your stay in the Republic of Slovenia;<\/li> <li>absence of grounds for refusal to issue the permit (e.g. security reasons).<\/li> <\/ul> <p><b>Specific sufficient means?<\/i><\/a>);<\/li> <li>a certificate from the criminal record of your country of origin (<a href=\"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/drzavljani-tretjih-drzav\/dovoljenje-za-zacasno-prebivanje\/kaj\"><i>Where can I obtain a criminal record certificate?<\/i><\/a>);<\/li> <\/ul> <ul> <li>a certificate of enrolment in an educational programme in the Republic of Slovenia;<\/li> <li>any other evidence (supporting documents) required by the Administrative Unit depending on the specific case.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><b>The procedure for submitting the application and documentation generally consists of the following steps:<\/b><\/p> <ol> <li>Submission of the application together with all required documentation \u2013 if you are lawfully residing in Slovenia, at any Administrative Unit; otherwise, at a diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Slovenia abroad (a fee must be paid).<\/li> <li>Collection of biometric data (fingerprints and photograph).<\/li> <li>Examination of the application by the Administrative Unit.<\/li> <li>Decision on the issuance of the permit.<\/li> <li>Personal collection of the permit in the form of a card.<\/li> <li>The student must register temporary residence in Slovenia after collection of the card.<\/li> <\/ol>         <\/div>\n
