{"id":1196,"date":"2017-12-14T08:37:51","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T06:37:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infotujci.si\/vkljucevanje-v-slovensko-druzbo\/motorna-vozila\/voznisko-dovoljenje\/"},"modified":"2021-02-15T15:31:41","modified_gmt":"2021-02-15T13:31:41","slug":"driving-licence","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"\/en\/integration-into-slovenian-society\/motor-vehicles\/driving-licence\/","title":{"rendered":"Driving licence"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\"  style='background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;'><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row \"><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_1 fusion-builder-column-0 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last 1_1\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;'><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"   data-bg-url=\"\"><div class=\"fusion-text\"><ul>\n<li>If you have a <a href=\"http:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/integration-into-slovenian-society\/motor-vehicles\/driving-licence\/habitual-residence\/\">habitual residence<\/a> in the Republic of Slovenia and residence registered in the Republic of Slovenia on the basis of a residence permit, you may for one year from the date of registration of residence with a valid driving license issued by the competent authority of your country, and in the course of reciprocity, drive those vehicles in the Republic of Slovenia for which a driving license has been issued to you.<\/li>\n<li>There is no time limit for driving licenses issued in EU Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway or Iceland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a <a href=\"http:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/integration-into-slovenian-society\/motor-vehicles\/driving-licence\/habitual-residence\/\">habitual residence<\/a> in the Republic of Slovenia and meet the conditions for driving motor vehicles, you may requestthe replacement of a valid driving license with a Slovenian driving license. A Slovenian driving license is issued to you if you pass the practical part of the test.<\/p>\n<p>You do not have to take the practical part if you have a driving license from an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, San Marino, United Kingdom, three countries of the British Isles (Man, Guernsey and Jersey), Gibraltar and Switzerland for all categories, Japan for categories AM, A1, A2, A, B1 and B, South Korea, United Arab Emirates or Australia for categories B1 and B.<\/p>\n<p>Upon replacement, the driving license issued abroad will be returned to the authority that issued your license in your country.<\/p>\n<p>You may submit a request for the replacement of a driving license at any administrative unit, and you must submit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your current driving license,<\/li>\n<li>valid medical certificate,<\/li>\n<li>a 35 x 45 mm photo that shows your true likeness and is not retouched,<\/li>\n<li>proof of payment of an administrative fee (EUR 18.10) and a driving license form (EUR 3.27),<\/li>\n<li>proof that when obtaining a driving license you fulfilled the condition of habitual residence in the country that issued a valid driving license, or studied in that country for at least six months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may contact any school in your area to take a practical part of the exam.<\/p>\n<p>More information on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avp-rs.si\/vozniski-izpiti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">obtaining driving licences<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avp-rs.si\/vozniki\/izobrazevanja-in-usposabljanja\/izobrazevanje-za-izvajalce-programov-dodatnega-uposabljanja-voznikov-zacetnikov-za-varno-voznjo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a list of organisations providing additional training<\/a>,\u00a0can be found on the website of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.avp-rs.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency<\/a>\u00a0(website is available in Slovenian).\u00a0Some information can also be found on the website <a href=\"https:\/\/e-uprava.gov.si\/en\/podrocja\/personal-documents-certificates-change-of-residence\/personal-documents-digital-certificate\/driving-licence.html\">eUprava<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slovenia.si\/live-and- work\/useful\/driving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">slovenija.si.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":1187,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1196"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1196"}],"version-history":[{"count":13,"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1196\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":3201,"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1196\/revisions\/3201"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1187"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/infotujci.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1196"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
