- The authority of the EU Member State that first issued the single permit for an intra-corporate transferee will also be informed of the decision on the application for a single permit for a long-term transfer.

When will the Administrative Unit refuse a single permit for long-term transfer?
The Administrative Unit may refuse a single permit for long-term transfer if:
- you do not meet the general and specific conditions;
- the maximum permitted period of residence in the Republic of Slovenia or in the territory of the Member States of the European Union has expired;
- an official notification by the employer from the associated company established in another EU Member State regarding the short-term transfer of the foreign national was submitted at the same time as the application for the issuance of a single permit for an intra-corporate transferee for long-term transfer;
- during the procedure before the competent authority in the Republic of Slovenia, the validity of the single permit for an intra-corporate transferee first issued by another EU Member State has expired;
- the period of transfer in the host entity is longer than the period of transfer in the EU Member State that first issued the single permit for an intra-corporate transferee.
Do I have to submit the application for residence of an intra-corporate transferee with a single permit issued in another EU Member State – long-term transfer in person, or can the employer or host entity do this?
You may submit the application with all supporting documentation for the issue of a single permit for long-term transfer yourself at any Administrative Unit. You must submit it within 30 days of entry into the Republic of Slovenia.
The application may also be submitted by the host company, but only at the territorially competent Administrative Unit according to the registered office of the company.

If the Administrative Unit in the Republic of Slovenia does not permit you to reside and work in the host company, your employer from the associated company may not transfer you to that company.
If you have already entered the Republic of Slovenia and started carrying out the long-term transfer, you must immediately, and no later than within three days from the final decision refusing the long-term transfer, cease work and return to the EU Member State that first issued your single permit for an intra-corporate transferee.
Can I extend a single permit for an intra-corporate transferee for a long-term transfer?
A single residence and work permit for an intra-corporate transferee for a long-term transfer may be extended under the same conditions under which it was issued. You must apply for an extension in due time, before the expiry of the single permit.
