Based on employment

You can obtain a permit if you are coming to Slovenia for the purpose of employment. An employment contract or other proof of work is required. The application is submitted at the administrative unit or through the employer.

You can obtain a permit if you are coming for the purpose of study. Along with the application, you must submit a certificate of enrollment and proof of financial means. The procedure takes place at the administrative unit or at an embassy.
