Parents may enrol children in a private kindergarten or private school with an international programme in a foreign language, which is registered with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. Primary school pupils who go to a private school with an international programme in a foreign language will be issued a certificate with the status of a foreign document by the school. If they want to continue education at a secondary school with a publicly valid secondary school programme or at a college with short-cycle higher education programme, they must act in accordance with the provisions of the Assessment and Recognition of Education Act.
