Persons granted international protection have the right to family reunification.
The procedure is begun at your request within the first 90 days of obtaining the status, with the help of PIC (Legal-Informational Centre for NGOs). In the process, you must submit documents proving the existence of family relationships. If your request is granted, your family members may come to the Republic of Slovenia, while you pay for the costs or the arrival (airline tickets, escort) yourself.
Those persons who join you receive the status of a foreigner in the Republic of Slovenia, and not the status of person with international protection.
