The employment relationship is established by signing an employment contract. Employment is open to persons over 15 years of age. Full-time work shall not exceed 40 hours per week, while overtime work is limited to a maximum of 230 additional hours/overtime hours per year. If you work eight hours a day, you are entitled to a 30-minute break. You are also entitled to annual holiday leave – the amount of your annual leave is specified in your employment contract.
In cases of the so called ‘undeclared work’ (most often related to working without an employment contract and being paid in cash), you shall immediately inform your integration advisor about the violation in question. Such work is illegal and shall be subject to punishment for both – the employer and the employee, and you have the right to notify the labour inspectorate about such breaches of employment standards
