When arranging initial living conditions in a new environment, such as finding an apartment, signing a housing contract, registering a residence, registering in the records of the employment service, completing the application for financial social assistance, opening a bank account and selecting a doctor, assistance will be provided to you by volunteers from non-governmental organisations who carry out projects of assistance for persons granted international protection.

The aforementioned partners of the Office also organise various activities to make integration into the Slovenian environment faster and easier, such as group meetings, conversations, study aid, day trips, theatre visits, etc. Those who come to the Republic of Slovenia on the basis of a relocation programme are included in a three-month orientation programme (learning Slovenian and getting to know Slovenian society) carried out by non-governmental organisations.
