NGO volunteers running projects aimed to assist international protection beneficiaries shall help you with the initial aspects of life in a new environment, such as finding a place to live, signing a housing contract, registering your place of residence, registration in the records of the Employment Office, filling in the application for financial social assistance, opening a bank account, and selecting a doctor. NGO volunteers are also in charge of organising a wide range of activities to help you integrate more quickly and easily into Slovenian environment, such as group meetings, discussions, learning support, day trips, theatre visits, etc. Those who come to the Republic of Slovenia under the relocation programme shall be included in a three-month orientation programme (learning the Slovenian language and getting to know Slovenian society) run by NGOs.
