If you have the status of a long-term resident in another EU country, you and your family members may enter and stay in Slovenia for up to 90 days. If you want to extend your stay, you must submit an application for a temporary residence permit for a specific purpose prior to the expiry of your permitted residence – you may submit your application abroad or at the administrative unit in Slovenia. The Ministry of the Interior will notify the EU country where you have the status of a long-term resident regarding the issued permit.
