If your employer sends you to work or training in a company in Slovenia, you can obtain a single permit for residence and work or training by posting.
In addition to meeting other conditions, you must have social security in the country from which you are sent, and this must also include health insurance. If your social security does not include health insurance, you must enclose evidence of other adequate health insurance with your application.
The first permit is issued for the period specified in the posting document, but not for more than one year. If the posting could not be fully realised for justified reasons, the permit may be extended until the deadline for the completion of the work or training – an application for an extension of the permit must be submitted before the expiry of the permit.
