The examination of knowledge of the Slovenian language at the basic level is intended for adults whose first language is not Slovenian and who need a publicly-recognised certificate of their knowledge of Slovenian as a second language for private or official purposes (for example, to obtain Slovenian citizenship). The examinations of the knowledge of Slovenian consist of written and oral parts.
You can take the examination at any of the providers with a Certificate on compliance with the conditions for taking the free first examination of the Slovenian language at the basic level, issued by an administrative unit. You will have to pay EUR 22.60 to submit an application and to receive the certificate.
The costs of the examination are covered by the Government Office for the Support and Integration of Migrants and the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
